Children's Ministry

Neighborhood Bible time is right around the corner! July 11th through the 16th! If you are interested in getting involved with Neighborhood Bible Time, you will be excited to know that we still have some openings for Bible teachers, missionary teachers, and assistant teachers! If you are looking to help out, please fill out one of the sign up sheets at the Welcome desk!

Summer Stomp was a huge blessing and I wanted to thank you all for your prayers and your giving! I know that a lot of our bus families and church families benefited from the scholarships that were donated! It is such a blessing to see so many lives changed by the preaching of God's Word! Sixteen souls came to know Christ as their personal Savior because they had the opportunity to come to camp this year! I'm already looking forward to how the Lord is going to bless next year! Thanks again for all those who helped in some way this year to make camp happen! - Pastor Chris Carabell

Spanish Ministry

spanish_ministry_fathers_dayOn the 19th of June, we held a Father’s day picnic. Our attendance goal was to have 150 people but we came up short - we only had 149. Praise the Lord!!! It was so encouraging to see so many come out and many for the first time. God used this time to enable us to reach out to some that we would have not been able to have contact with. Throughout the evening, we played soccer (no surprise there), ate hot dogs and hamburgers and then had a church meeting. During the meeting time we sang, recognized the many fathers who came out, and preached the good news of the love our Heavenly Father showed toward us while we were yet sinners. Five people accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, including one young man who we have been trying to reach out to for over a year. Praise the Lord that He is faithful to work in lives and change hearts.

The week after the Father’s Day picnic, during follow up visits, five more people were saved. Praise the Lord! Please keep praying for God’s mighty hand to continue doing a work in the lives and hearts of the Hispanic community. Pray for God to open more doors that we might see more souls saved. We are looking forward with excited hearts to what God is going to do in the days ahead. Also, be praying with us that God would provide someone who would be able to teach English to the Spanish speakers before our mid-week service. We are looking to start up English classes in the near future.

Bus Ministry

I want to thank all those who sacrificially gave so that many different bus kids could go to Summer Stomp. It was a life-changing experience for many of them. We may never know the impact it will have on their lives as well on the lives of their friends, parents and relatives. God does know though, and we can trust that He has a plan for each one of them. Please pray with me that the children who attended camp will continue making strides in their walk with Christ. - Pastor Todd Comstock, Jr.
