Where did February go? In a blur of white! We all felt the effects of the snow and are still continually reminded of the blizzards by the big piles of snow everywhere! It was such an amazing sight to watch the snow fall and know that God made each and every single snow flake different. It can remind us of how he made each of us all unique and different from everyone else. Just like the snowflakes gather together to make a big pile that every one can see and are effected by, we as Christians must work together to affect the world around us the very same way. Through our lives we should be able to remind the world of Christ and his love for them. We see in I Timothy 6:12-14, that Paul wrote to Timothy to be about the good fight of faith, and that we should keep the commandment to have a good witness till the appearing of Christ. So, be encouraged, each one of you, that we all are fighting the “Good Fight”. Let us be more like the snowflakes and work together to affect the world.
Bus Ministry
We have had a great month in the Bus Ministry, having 9 saved during the month despite the nasty weather! We are running a new 6 week long program to try and get the Children who come on the buses excited about saying their verses and bringing visitors with them. Please pray for our bus workers and Sunday school teachers as they endeavor to disciple these children to desire the things of God.
Spanish Ministry
Over the last month, the Spanish ministry keeps on moving forward, with the Lord opening more doors for us as we seek to reach the lost in our community. God continues to work and change the lives of those around us. Even with the bad weather this month, we still are seeing God do some wonderful things. Several more individuals made decisions for Christ including a young man named Pablo. He has attended several of our outreach meetings, and He accepted Jesus as His Savior one evening when we visited him in his home. Praise the Lord! In our mid-week Bible study, which we started in January, we have been studying what is the church and its purpose. It has been good to help those who have been attending see their role in the church. We are looking forward with excited hearts to what God is going to do this month. Be praying for wisdom in how best to move forward with the ministry to the Spanish community and that many more souls may be saved. Please pray for God to continue to cause growth in the lives of those who are coming out to the Church meetings, and that many more would come out to the services.
