Bus Ministry – Our many bus routes provide transportation from all over Carroll County, as well as from Littlestown, PA, and Hanover, PA for our Sunday morning services.

Carroll Christian Schools – Built upon the traditional classroom, CCS offers a complete program of academics, fine arts, and athletics for preschool through 12th grade.

Children Ministries – At Church of the Open Door we believe that children are an important part of our church. It is our role to train and equip them for the future.

Church of the Open Door Book Store offers our members the opportunity to purchase from a variety of styles of King James Bibles, good Christian books of all types, wholesome and God honouring music CDs, sermons from our pastor and other men of God, as well as lots of other items to help edify the body of Christ.

Deaf Ministry – Sign language interpretation is provided for our Sunday morning service at 10:45am as well as for our Sunday evening service at 6:00pm. Our Deaf Sunday School Class meets on Sunday morning at 9:45am and our Deaf Bible study meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm. Both the Sunday School Class and the Bible Study Class meet downstairs in Room 104.

DivorceCare – A series of support groups and seminars conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing. Most importantly, you will learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.

DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) – DivorceCare for Kids provides the opportunity for children of divorce to experience hope, help and restoration in their lives today and in the future.

Dynamite Club & Firecracker Club – A summer time program that is held on Wednesday nights from 7-9 pm. Bible lessons, games and refreshments comprise this teaching experience for children five years old to the sixth grade.

GriefShare – A Grief Recovery Support Group for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. It’s a place to be with people who understand what you are feeling. At GriefShare you’ll receive valuable information about recovering from your grief and renewing your hope for the future. It is a Biblical based program to teach you how the Lord Jesus Christ can help you in your journey from mourning to joy.

Special Needs Ministry – An outreach to those in our community with special needs.

HOPE – Home-school Oversight Program Extension – HOPE has been designed to support and provide oversight, encouragement, advice, and record keeping for families who choose to train up their children at home (Deut. 6:4-6) in faith, virtue and knowledge (II Peter 1:5).

Joyful Connection– A group for ladies of all ages that meets the first Monday of each month for prayer, Bible Staudy, and encouragement to one another

Master Club is a program on Wednesday nights for three year olds up through the sixth grade where children are taught the Bible, shown how to apply the Bible to their lives, then review the Bible with them through badge projects, Bible Quizzing, and devotional diaries.

Military Ministry – We support those members or family members who serve in our nation’s military armed services through our love, care, and prayers!

Missions – Through regular financial and prayer support of missionaries and missionary projects, our church reaches to every corner of the globe.

M.O.M.S. – (Making Our Mothering Significant) – Meets every second and fourth Tuesday from 9:30 – 11 a.m., September through May. Ladies enjoy craft, teaching and discussion groups. Children’s ministry provided.

Music Ministry – There is an adult church choir, a senior adult choir, a youth choir, a children’s choir, a church orchestra, plus many individuals presenting special music, both vocally and instrumentally.

Neighborhood Bible Time (NBT) – This is our action-packed Vacation Bible School. It is full of Bible teaching, patriotism, rewards and excitement that keeps them coming back for more!

New Convert Class  –  A ministry designed to start the new convert in Christ on the road to spiritual growth and maturity as they learn vital fundamental Scriptural Truths from the Word of God in a special 12-week class.

Nurseries – A clean, well-kept and well-staffed nursery is provided for all Sunday and Wednesday services.

Reformers Unanimous – A faith-based addiction program designed to direct the addicted back to God’s support group – the local church. We are a ministry committed to restoring addicts through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We meet on Tuesday Evenings from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

Soul Winner’s Club – The SOUL-WINNERS’ Club is a simple yet proven and successful 12-point local church program that teaches you how to win your first person to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Soul-Winning Director College Events – Throughout the year, our church joins with The Sword of the Lord Ministries in training pastors and laymen to establish “The Soul-Winner’s Club” training program in their church so as to train others how to become effective soul-winners. Summer Stomp – Our Junior Camp is called, “The Summer Stomp.” Usually held the last full week of June, it is filled with two Bible programs each day, puppets, daily magic show, swimming, sports, go-kart rides, Indian village and games galore!

Sunday School  – There are five major divisions: Preschool, Elementary, Teen, Adult, and Handicapped Ministries. Within the adult division, there are 7 classes to choose from ranging from college to senior adults, both singles and married couples.

Super Sixties – For folks 55 or older, this ministry is a must. Meeting to eat, fellowship, entertain, and to serve. Trips (local and out-of-state) are a regular part of the Super’s activity

Teen Ministry – This is built around our Sunday School classes and Wednesday Bible study; reaching teens, developing their potential and molding them into outstanding young men and women.

Willing Hearts and Hands  – A ministry helping and encouraging those who are elderly or who may be shut-in due to illness or other physical limitations and are not able to get out and about.

World-wide Web Ministry – Church of the Open Door believes that reaching people with the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ indeed begins at home but is not just limited to our immediate area, and includes reaches all our communities locally, across our nation, and ultimately unto the uttermost parts of the earth. We are able to do this to an even greater extent through our Church’s Website and World-wide Web Ministry!
