From My Heart

I want to say a very special thank you to all of you who came to pray last Monday evening. It was a good steady turnout, and I pray the Lord blessed your heart as much as He did mine. Many Churches across the nation have been praying diligently for this election and for the Lord to prevent the Socialist takeover of America. The national media is not going to tell America who Harris is and where she has positioned herself on the major issues. But she has the most liberal voting record of any U.S. Senator. It is hard to believe, but she is to the “left” of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.

She is not going to be the President she says she will be if elected. She will take our beloved country farther down the road to Socialism. She told one reporter there was not one thing she would have done differently than Joe Biden! She clarified in her answer that she was there, in the room, when all these policies and practices were discussed, and that she is in complete agreement with everything Biden has done.

She was the tie-breaking vote in the Senate on the “Inflation Reduction Act,” which was nothing more than a Socialist wish-list for how to destroy the economy. That bill will cost the American taxpayer trillions of dollars over the next 10 years and does not reduce inflation, but as we have already seen, it increases inflation. We are moving towards disaster with the tax and spend philosophy. There has never been a nation that has taxed its way to prosperity. To pay for these massive spending bills, they must raise taxes.

One of the catchphrases used on the Harris/Walz ticket is “Everyone needs to pay their fair share!” Well, are we not? I feel like I am paying out in taxes a whole lot more than I am getting in return! The Federal Govt. taxes my income, the State of Maryland taxes my income, then the State taxes my Social Security! I pay property taxes, and I pay sales tax on the things I buy at the stores. Once I get out of Carroll County, there is a tax on many of the roads that we drive on in Maryland. I pay a tax to license my car, I pay a tax every time I put fuel in my car, and then I pay a tax to have my emission’s output checked!

And I am probably missing something but, in my opinion, I think I am paying more than my “fair share!” The truth is: The Progressive Left is not going to be happy until they take every single penny of my income, and then they can tell me what they think I need to live on! That is Socialism which usually turns violent, so they then use the Marxist ideology to enforce their tyrannical ways on the people. When this happens, usually there are multitudes who die defending their freedom.

Please go vote this Tuesday and stand up for your freedom! God bless America and God bless each of you!

Pastor Norris
