From My Heart

Our country is in complete and total upheaval on every front. The liberal left is screaming that Charlie Kirk was a bigot, a racist, an instigator of hate! I have watched many of his videos where he was openly debating college students, and I never heard him say anything I would consider “racist.” Again, the definition of a bigot proves itself as accurate: “a bigot is a person who wins an argument with a liberal.” Mr. Kirk would sit for hours and debate with students, and they would walk away from their conversation with a profound respect for him and his arguments.

But now he is being called a bigot, a hatemonger, a racist, and many other horrible names by liberals. The reaction to his murder last week shows us just how distorted America’s thinking has become. One lady said she was so glad he was killed, and even said she thinks someone should kill his wife and his two little girls because they are just going to carry out his work in the coming days and years. I have told you for years that a racist is anyone who disagrees with a liberal. If you don’t think like a liberal, you will be seen as a racist by the liberal element of our society.

Some of these folks immediately went on social media and agreed with killing Mr. Kirk in a cold-blooded execution. Several of these people called for the execution of “others who are like him.” And thank the Lord, many folks have been fired from their jobs for having this kind of murderous mindset! If you don’t agree with what someone is saying, don’t listen to them speak! If you do not care for someone’s speech, just turn off the speech and don’t listen to them speak! But this fellow did not like what Charlie Kirk said, so he took a high-powered rifle and shot him in the neck, causing his death!

Last Tuesday, I read on Breitbart News that the first thing this fellow who shot and killed Mr. Kirk did was to go on the Internet to see what kind of reaction he was getting from the public, after the evil deed was done! That young man has just ruined his life, his future, and his chance for a happy life. But I am sure he feels justified as he reads how thrilled several folks were at him taking Mr. Kirk’s life.

I wonder how much blame for this execution should be cast at the feet of the many members of government who have spent the last several years trying to tell the world that Republicans, that Conservatives, that President Trump and his staff are a threat to democracy, or that Trump is the most dangerous man in America, or that Trump is Hitler. Maxine Waters told the nation one day to get in the faces of the Republicans and tell them they are not welcome where you are! Well, I don’t know about you, but that sounds like a threat to me!

Please pray for our nation, and for the peace of Jerusalem.

Pastor Norris
