IN MEMORY: The flower on the organ is given by David Roberts in memory of the passing of his wife, Nadine Roberts, on June 3, 2025.

VBS AND TEEN REVIVAL: Both events will take place July 12–16. Volunteers are needed to help make these programs a success! If you are willing to help, please sign up at the Welcome Desk.

JUNK WANTED: Our VBS theme this year is “Junk Yard Redemption,” and we’re turning everyday “junk” into something special! We are collecting empty, clean tin cans, with labels intact, of all sizes. A collection box is located at the Welcome Desk for your donations. These will play an important role in bringing our VBS junkyard to life! Don’t toss them - donate them! Every can helps!

RED ENVELOPES: are out on the table in the foyer to help the Teens with their mission trip. Your red envelope(s) with your gift may be placed in the offering plate or turned in at the Welcome Desk by June 21.

From My Heart

I had a preacher friend who is now in Heaven, and he would send me an email or a letter and say at the top, “Just various ramblings!” I am going to simply offer a few ramblings this morning in this column. I think President Trump needs to get a sense of the urgency of the hour and implement his policies with a great deal more fervency. It seems to me that if gas prices do not come down and if inflation doesn’t come down, it is going to be difficult for the Republicans to maintain control of the House and Senate.

If the Democrats win control of the House, they will fill the next two years with impeachment after impeachment, and Trump’s agenda will stop on a dime. It also seems to me that if the Senate and John Thune do not advance the Voter Protection Act, the cheating, the stuffed ballot boxes, and the mail-in ballots being pulled out from under tables will simply start up again.

It is quite clear that those Senators and Congressmen who have stood in the way of Trump’s agenda being enacted have almost all received their walking papers from Congress. So, the American people are seemingly standing with the President and are removing these RHINOS and stating firmly that we don’t want Socialism, or Islam and the Sharia Law that goes with it, and we don’t want Congressmen and Senators becoming multi-millionaires “by hook or by crook” after serving just one term.

And while I am venting, have you ever noticed that some Maryland politicians don’t even take the time to campaign - because I guess they know they are going to win anyway - so why spend money to campaign when you can stick that money in an overseas account somewhere? It might just be me, but I have never seen Van Hollen, Raskin, or Stenny Hoyer campaign! Why spend their war chests…they know they are going to win! Two years ago, one minute after the polls closed in Maryland, WJZ, the CBS affiliate in Baltimore, declared Raskin the winner! Unbelievable!!!

One more rambling! Isn’t it strange that nothing is happening with all this impeachment fraud that was uncovered, or with all the uncovered material in the January 6th fraud that went on at the Capitol Building in D.C., or with the fraud in Minnesota, Ohio, Maine, California, and right here in the good old People’s Republic, National Democratic Socialist State of Maryland. If heads were to begin to roll in these fraud cases, we just might find the American people excited over some justice finally being accomplished. What about James Comey, Clapper, Brennan, and what about all the lying Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell did during the first term of President Trump? If the American people could see some action being taken to “Clean Up the Swamp,” that just might put a stop to future corruption! But what do I know?
