THANK YOU: to all our pastors and church family for your prayers and concern during my recent neck surgery. A special thank you to the Super Sixties group for their visits before my surgery. They were such an encouragement to me! I am thankful the surgery was successful and has relieved my pain. Now I am focusing on recovering. God answers prayers! Sarah Penton

From My Heart
There is a new museum in Dearborn, Michigan, which is affiliated with the Smithsonian Museums and is called the Arab American Museum. It was given millions of taxpayer dollars, and the entire purpose of this place is to distort the facts and make the Islamic terrorists who perpetrated the 9/11 attacks against our nation look noble and even heroic! The reason for their attacking America is portrayed as showing their support for the Palestinian State. The truth is, 9/11 was the beginning of a “jihad” (holy war) against America and the rest of the world.
I remember when 9/11 happened, President George W. Bush went the extra mile to stress to the American people not to be angry at Muslims! Repeatedly for months and months after 9/11, we were told by the media and by the government that Islam is a “peaceful religion.” In the 25 years since America was attacked, if we have learned anything, it should be that Islam is not a peaceful religion. Don’t forget, Christianity is Calvary, but Islam is cavalry!
I was so thrilled when the Trump Administration finally went after the Ayatollah in Iran and how the entire inner circle of Iran’s leadership were all summoned to one location, and then that location was blown to bits! In my opinion, that was a great start - but then the Trump Administration has been deceived by Iran into wasting time through “negotiations.” These people are not interested in negotiating anything! They are simply stalling and banking on the mid-term elections in November giving the Democrats control of the House and Senate. If the Dems get back in the majority, they will go right back to the policy of appeasement! We need to finish the job! There is no negotiation that will work with these religious zealots.
Back in the late 1990s, I was in Israel with a group from our church, and we had a special dinner with some of the dignitaries in Jerusalem. I sat beside a retired IDF General, and I asked him this question: “Why does Israel allow Yasser Arafat to walk freely and get in front of every microphone and camera he sees just to attack Israel’s leadership?” He said, “What do you think we should do?” I said, “I don’t know, but I feel sure you could think of something to do?” He smiled and said, “If we kill him, there are thousands just like him who would take his place! But we simply contain him and try to limit the damage he does!” I replied, “Well, I think if you cut off the head of the snake, you are making the next snake a little leery about crawling out into the open.” He smiled and said, “You are probably onto something!”
The liberal left is sympathetic to the Muslim agenda and uses the Palestinian issue to justify their hatred for Israel and America. They turn a blind eye to the fact that Hamas terrorists broke through Israel’s border, and others flew in on motorized single-manned machines and murdered in cold blood everyone they saw! These terrorists were killing indiscriminately: men, women, teenagers, children, and even infants! What kind of heartless person kills babies? That does not sound like a peaceful religion to me! But when Israel said, “Enough,” they went into Gaza to kill the terrorists! Of course, the media made it sound like thousands of Palestinians were butchered! However, there is absolutely no evidence of that happening! NONE!
Surely the “Day of the Lord is at hand.” The world needs to wake up to the reality of what this Islamic threat truly is: a holy war that will not end until the Battle of Armageddon, when the Lord Jesus brings victory and peace by defeating the Antichrist, the False Prophet, and Satan himself.
Maybe the Lord will come for His Church today! Wouldn’t that be wonderful?
