CCS BOOK FAIR: takes place next week in the School Library. You will be able to shop on Monday evening, October 14, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and Wednesday through Friday (October 16-18) between 3:15 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The Book Fair will be open on Grandparents Day, Friday, October 18, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00p.m.

From My Heart
Election Day is quickly coming upon us. Please remember the amendment the State is asking us to approve is disguised in a word salad that was carefully put together to deceive and cause the average citizen to read it and say, “Oh, that sounds harmless!” Well, it is not! It will make abortion legal at any point of the pregnancy and will result in Maryland having to get another Constitutional ballot initiative to undo the damage of this amendment. This amendment takes your children out of your hands and places them in the hands of the State. It is really a “family destruction amendment.” I am voting NO on this amendment. I cannot tell you how to vote, but I can tell you how I am going to vote on this ungodly piece of legislation, and I vote no! Please speak with your neighbors and with your family and warn them of this amendment, which will empower the State to do unimaginable damage to families and will make abortion a law that will probably never be overturned in our State!
I am so ready for the Lord to return! The signs of His soon return are all around us. The Lord Jesus said in Matt. 24:6-7, the signs of wars and rumours of wars…nation rising against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in different places around the globe. Just this last week, after Iran sent hundreds of missiles into Israel, a big earthquake hit Iran and there was much more destruction to houses and buildings in Iran - than the damage caused in Israel by the intercepted missile debris falling out of the skies in Israel.
In Luke 21:11, the good doctor tells us that these same earthquakes that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24 are, “…GREAT earthquakes.” And then, in the rest of that verse, Jesus said, “and fearful sights shall there be from heaven.” That is not Heaven, the dwelling place of God, but the heaven that we see each night when the sun goes down! And there has certainly been a huge increase in things happening and being seen in the skies over our heads. Astronomers are speaking about how (any day now) we might see an already bright star, Betelgeuse, go supernova. A supernova is when a star suddenly increases in brightness because of a catastrophic explosion that ejects most of its mass. They are saying when this happens it will probably be a huge light show in the night sky!
The point is, we are already seeing some of these things the Lord Jesus said would be signs before His return. But understand this: these signs are signs of Christ’s second coming (the Return - at the end of the Tribulation Period). These are not signs of the Rapture of the Church. There are no signs for the Rapture! The only thing Paul said was there would be a great “falling away.” And we are certainly seeing this “falling away” (the Apostasy) in the professing church. So, if we are seeing these signs spoken by the Lord Jesus now, but the signs are for the Return, not the Rapture, it shows you how close we must be to the Rapture!
I think today would be a perfect day for the Lord Jesus to appear in the clouds to take us home to Heaven! Don’t you? Have a wonderful day and keep looking for the Lord Jesus and listening for the trumpet to blast across the globe!
