From My Heart

Tomorrow is the day when Donald Trump will take the oath of office to serve as the 47th President of the United States. The gauntlet has been thrown down to Hamas concerning the release of the remaining Israeli hostages. President Trump told them to release the hostages by tomorrow, or there will be a terrible price to pay. Just what that means was not fully explained, but most analysts agree that as of tomorrow, the Israel-United States relationship is going to take a full-circle change. The Biden Administration has been binding Israel’s hands by withholding weapons and information and aiding the terrorists. That is going to change tomorrow.

The Biden Administration has withheld a huge weapons shipment approved by Congress and has been doing everything it can to hurt Israel’s ability to fight! Several of the retired and former military folks are saying they think President Trump will remove all the restraints and allow Israel to do what they feel is necessary to get their people released. They are saying they believe the United States will release the ammunition packages that Congress approved and will also offer whatever help Israel might need. Something best be worked out and every hostage released, or Hamas is going to be in for a rough few days after tomorrow.

I do not like to say this, but my guess is Hamas has killed most of the hostages. These people are so ideologically driven by their “jihad” mentality, that they can take even innocent people and shoot them point blank without one shred of remorse or shame. They have been taught as a child to hate the Jews, and that hatred is drilled into their minds and hearts to where all they think about is killing the Jewish people.

Before the brutal attack of Hamas on October 7, 2023, the Hamas terrorists took a powerful man-made drug called “Captagon.” These powerful pills often include a mix of amphetamines, caffeine, and various other fillers which take away inhibitions and cause the person who takes it to have a euphoric “super-man” kind of feeling. This drug “Captagon” is highly addictive and has been banned in civilized nations, but is regularly taken by ISIS, the Taliban, Hamas, and other Jihadi terror organizations. Because these terrorist organizations manufacture and use this drug, it is called “the jihadist drug.”

Israel has been treated terribly by the Biden Administration but that is all about to change. Trump understands Genesis 12:2-3, where the Lord said to Abraham, “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” That promise was made to Abraham thousands of years ago, but there is no expiration date on the promise. And President Trump understands this Biblical promise from the Lord. In an interview he had with one of the “lame-stream media” outlets, he quoted this third verse and said he believes it is true.

Tonight, we are honoring some staff members of our Church and School. We thank the Lord for all our staff and the hard work each one does every day. I hope you will be here this evening and help us honor some very deserving people.

I trust you will have a wonderful day and that you will take the opportunity to draw near to the Lord. The Lord wants a personal relationship with each of us, so I want to encourage you to enjoy the service, enjoy singing the great hymns of the faith, enjoy the times of prayer, the offering, and enjoy the preaching of God’s Word. There is no doubt the Lord has something for you today through His Word. Have a wonderful day.

Pastor Norris
